This is a sophisticated work with great color and ambiance. Really love the composition too.

So very glad to see your work! Looking forward to lots and lots more.

If I don't ask, you won't tell...

Not to worry; it speaks for itself.

Sam, you say you don't know?
Well, hear is what it is; it's exciting for the eyes and brain, the colors are striking and beautiful, it's stark but mellow, there are no dog tracks in it and I like it.
Nice to see your work.

WOW!!!!! How long have you had this under wraps? This is possibly my favorite of all your artwork. I LOVE it.
How big (small) is it? And pastel, yes? On what?

Thanks a lot to everybody! (DD, I'm taking your encouraging words to heart. Good luck with your arm!)

Loriann quoted Wolf Kahn, “I am always trying to get to the danger point, where color either becomes too sweet or too harsh; too noisy or too quiet”. I told her I took that quote to my studio and scared myself. But I ended up liking this pastel (on icky Velour paper, Jala) quite a lot.
