studio dogs

There are a lot of dogs in my studio.
One of them thought a group shot would be nice.

I like your studio dogs. They remind me of the artist's thoughts: Jumping, flying, bounding with great focus, and sometimes looking pretty cool.

Thanks Melinda. The dogs are pretty self-possessed, so they could get by without your adulation, but if truth be known, they crave it like a bone. z:0}

Dear Sam, I so enjoy your blog. I never know what I'll find here but I know it won't be something I expect. I'm partial to you "doggy" themes being a huge lover of my black lab and Chesapeake Retriever. Mine throw balls at my studio wall when they want to play fetch. What would we do without them.

What a nice comment! I do try to provide variety. If nothing else, then as infill for the spaces between paintings.

I'm currently without a labbie (not counting the ones I borrow from friends) for the first time in many years. I appreciate the relative calm but miss the clowning. They do indeed do stuff like throw the ball if no one else will.
