sweet and honest

Some photos of the sweet sky at the ranch
taken with my trusty Sony DSLR.

To be honest,
I took this next one here in town with that upstart iPhone.

Perhaps not quite as precise
but mighty handy.

Montana has the Big Sky, but we here in Colorado have the bluest sky.

Great sky scenes! I know what you mean about the iPhone (or any new technological gadget) -- you must be a wizard with it and have filled pages with fun apps. I love the convenience of always having a camera with me, even if I have forgotten a camera!

We're back in BC, where the skies are tinged with smoke from big fires burning nearby. Orange sky at morning and red sky at night.

I'm definitely not an app freak. Haven't spent much time at the app store. I use the phone for email, blog checks, weather, calendars and grocery lists. And I love the camera!

I saw that you're heading south like the horse to the barn.
You get big points for dodging the heat (not counting the last few days, I guess). Great sketch book, photos and pastels. Well done!

Sam....these were taken with an iphone? That's amazing! I didn't realize they were that capable.

Love your cloud photos! Are you one of those artists, er...uh-hem, that could take 300 photos in a day of clouds and cool diagonals?

Fun stuff. Looking forward to more. Say, there's a call for cell phone photos you might be interested in. It's here:
National Cell Phone Photography Exhibition

P. S. Sometimes I miss the smell of mimeograph paper fresh from the machine. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone, k?

Mimeograph, too!

Beautiful skies, and I really do like your zig zag path and grass photo with your upstart iPhone camera. I don't know how I ever survived without my blackberry camera.
