spook you!

Halloween is big here in Boulder.
When the downtown MallCrawl got too rowdy in 1989,
the city outlawed it.
Bummer.

So we took it home.
I took these next photos a week ago when people
had just begun to decorate.

I'm happy to say that it's getting out of hand...

Do NOT try this at home!
I stole this picture of Jazz from Jala.
I am amoral.

When I was in the States (many, many years ago), neighbours of my host family took all his furniture out of the living room and they decorated it with some halloween theme. That year they had an operation room, where he used a jigsaw or something like that. Very, very crepy... I guess, that was the point where I had my final culture shock....:-)
Love the photo with Jazz and the connotation...

Very ghoulish fun you're having there!

We live out in the country and folks don't get into the Halloween decorating spirit, but one of my neighbors has a witch who flies into our giant fir trees. Makes me laugh.

Melinda--
No one does it better than Tucson!

Astrid--
Sounds like you saw our shocking cultural best!

Kvan--
You sure that's a witch flying around in the trees?

Celeste--
Sitting on your foot is about as vicious as Jazz gets.
