howl

I loved painting this.
Loved working in acrylic with a juicy brush again.

Dogs are us.

The joy you had while painting this is certainly evident in how awesome it is. Perfect capture. I can hear my Dad's beagle howling now. Nice to see you painting.

Owwoooooohh! Love it! I was 8 years old when my family got a Beagle, Pixie. She was determined to dig up Mom's sweet pea beds and to howl at the moon. What a dog! Drove my mother crazy. Of course. I think that's why I especially liked her!

Your painting makes me smile! Fun, bright colors and an unexpected perspective make it SUPER!

Whaay - great one Sam - the exuberance and joy in this painting. I couldn't believe it because I had just finished writing a response to you and Don Gray about Picasso's dog and as far as I can see this could be him! I think both are dachshunds with those velvety floppy ears! Go to Don's blog to read details of a book about him which I'm sureyou would love.

Aw, this reminds me of our dear Lucy, howling away with joy (the vet said she talked). Love this painting, Sam!

Woof! I already commented on the other posting of HOWL, but I love it some much I decided to comment again.

My dog doesn't bark very much, but once in a while she hears some noise in the hallway that doesn't belong and WATCH OUT. She be a howlin'!
