miraculous

Tomorrow is my mother's 90th birthday.
I think anyone who survives 90 years on this planet is miraculous.
I also think posting a video is pretty miraculous,
but I think her miracle is more powerful.
I am not one bit surprised.

I shot the video on our trip to Maine last month.
My husband is driving.
My mother is riding shotgun with a roadmap in hand,
telling us where to go.
It was ever thus.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUM!

Congratulations on your mom's birthday!! It's so good that you could spend time with her and that she's still happy to lead the way. My guess is that if you follow her, you'll always arrive at the right place (and maybe not where you expected).

Happy birthday to Sam's mom! And many more.

A miracle indeed. Great Mum, great milestone birthday, great DNA, great orienteering, and great that she doesn't get carsick reading tiny map print in the car.
You are blessed to have such a with-it mom and she is no doubt aware that her tree produced quite an apple.

Congratulations!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. With a little help (my technical ineptitude was inherited), Mum was able to read all of your good wishes.

Without a doubt, the best part of all of this is that we all know how lucky we are.

Sam, many happy returns to your mom. I just loved her reading the map out. My mum is also very quick to tell me when I have taken a wrong turning, LOL. She also reached 90 in February last and tomorrow is coming to the opening reception of the Stockport Art Guild show where I have two paintings exhibited.

Brian--
Mps... Good one! It's already become family vernacular!

Sheila--
Hope your mum enjoys the Guild show!

omg..this is so cool! I envy you--my Mom should have lived to at least 100. Alas...she did not. Your Mom is wonderful--congratulations to her on 90 years!
