the boogieman

In 1797, Francisco de Goya did this creepy etching called,
"Que viene el Coco".

Brooklyn Museum - Here Comes the Bogey-Man (Que viene el Coco) - Francisco de Goya y Lucientes

a.k.a., "Here comes the boogieman".

As far as I'm concerned,
spammers, hackers, and all manner of ghosts in the machine
are boogiemen.

Disguised as "Sharon", it paid a visit to Celeste Bergin
in a nefarious plot to purloin her art files.
In my case, the thug has grabbed my email files,
Don't try to send email to me;
I'll get it, but I won't be able to identify it or open it.

What a jerk.

By the way, I never knew the boogieman's name is Coco.
Did you?

Creepy is right! Several friends have had their email accounts hijacked! What a huge pain -- hope you get it straightened out quickly.

Love your version of Coco...very ominous! and thanks for the mention...! I've had my fair share of problems with the spammers. If you ever get an email from "me" telling you I'm in London and don't have any money...please realize I would likely call you on the phone instead of email you. haha.

Here in the south, we have the boogerman--he looks just like your portrait. Sorry about your email files.

Good news is that I found a copy of the missing file. Now if I can only move it back without nuking it.

Bad news is that the boogerman (ha ha) is still lurking out there. Keep your heads down and lock the door!

Cuco and coco are two names for it.

word verif.: proograc (a sound the coco makes)

Sorry to hear you're having tech issues. Dog walkies one of these days?
