Hey Sam--I'm really enjoying this onion, and the pieces like the umbrella piece are very cool. Is any of this stuff computer art done with a stylus and pad? I just bought one (a month ago) and can't even take it out of the box. You know, brave new world and all. If these are not computer generated, never mind. Your images are still way cool. Wm
William (Bill?)--No stylus, no pad, just my iPhone and my finger. It's been a while since I posted the link to my "paintbox". For a long time, I didn't post a painting without it. It's time to refresh the information.

The site is accessible with any computer, but when it was published as an app... yay! I jumped. It's gotten me through airports, waiting rooms, and late nights. Okay, a "minor" addiction. I just got an iPad, so I'll try the app on it as well, but there's something about the lack of control on the intimate (tiny) screen of the iPhone that prohibits anality and encourages serendipity. Like with any medium, practice helped. Give it a try, and you may never have to break the shrink wrap on your stylus.
I am Sam Hannaway, and I share this blog with the dogs in my life. Being creative soothes my soul, so I write when I have something to say, paint when words don't cut it and try to follow the dogs' advice with grace. They say to keep it simple.
