Both ways work, but I think I like the blue on top best. You're very clever with your use of red in both big shapes to make it work either way. Reminds me of some of the monuments and hoodoos of Utah, Arizona and southern Colorado.
"Hoodoo? You do! Do what? Remind me of a man. What man? The man with the power. What power? The power of hoodoo. Hoodoo? You do! Do what? Remind me of a man... etc."
I am Sam Hannaway, and I share this blog with the dogs in my life. Being creative soothes my soul, so I write when I have something to say, paint when words don't cut it and try to follow the dogs' advice with grace. They say to keep it simple.

I often turn things around like that. Impressive that this looks great in both versions

I like bofum. Or it's an Easter Island sculpture at rest.
Bofum?
I like the top one best, it looks like a cityscape.
Are your pastels turning to (ahem) dust over there? ;)
To quote Cary Grant:
"Hoodoo?
You do!
Do what?
Remind me of a man.
What man?
The man with the power.
What power?
The power of hoodoo.

Thanks, Kvan. I needed that.
