Sam, it's nice to see some paint on the end of your brush. Doing some beautiful work I might say.
Simple shapes and colors but creates great drama.

Love the shapes and the diagonal drama for this quiet piece. Of course, the colors SEND me! Great job!

It does indeed feel good to have paint on the brush. Your brush has certainly been making some good magic lately!

It's always good to hear nice things from an artist I admire. Thanks! I'm trying to make an impact with simpler design. Less is more. Hardly a new idea, but always worth the pursuit.

Oh I get the water so well--I've been there many times. Nice. A very special time of day. Wm

Thanks so much, Janelle.

Celeste, being only 6x6 I think this painting would have better impact as a larger piece. I think I'm headed that way.

Wm, thanks for getting that morning vibe. It's like no other.

This is just so, so beautiful. Early morning again?

Thanx, Hallie. This is 10 or 11 am. Good time for atmospherics in Maine. Seems yellow to me.

Hey everyone, I can vouch for the fact that it's even more lusciously lemony in person.

I like the strong simplicity of it - and yes, bigger and bigger!

Loriann--
Any time you want to throw a WK my way is fine with me. Thanks!

Jala--
Everything looks better offline, doesn't it?

Sheila--
Good advice. I hear you.
