I know I've been tardy about blogging,
but I've been torn
between the ranch, the studio and the garden.
Lately, the beautiful ranch has been winning.

dogs think humans are nuts."

Man, that looks like a great place to just plop down outside and start scribbling on paper with some pastels. With maybe a cold drink and some animal companionship as well.
Lucky you to have a ranch for a distraction from blogging; we should all be so lucky!
Wow, I didn't know wisteria grew in this part of the country. Thought it was a Southern thang.
I like your river photo. Looks like it would make a great painting.
Thanks, it is a great place, but it doesn't stay that way from plopping down. Conservation is a labor of love.
A beautiful place, Sam.
Way to tell the blog who's the boss. That shot in the middle is driving me nuts. You have such a great eye for composition. More snaps!
looks like what my place would look like if I had a place. next lifetime perhaps.
Oh my. You're doing exactly what you should be doing.
Grand prize for the second photo! The swirling water reflects an amazing landscape -- no wonder you love it!
I'm really glad you all liked the photos, especially the one of the river. I took all of these with the iPhone. As long as I don't need super high resolution, it's getting to be my favorite camera. The convenience can't be beat, and new camera apps are boosting capability all the time. I won't be surprised when someone comes up with a Hasselblad app.
the beautiful ranch is ...........beautiful!
wow! I had no idea! A labor of love indeed. It shows. Don't you just love wisteria? I do.
