So that's what snow looks like? Here in the sun coast of Maine, we have no snow, and the temperature on this first day of Winter topped at 48 degrees. The palm trees are drooping...

Yes, I'm with Kevin over here on the South Shore of Boston with a green lawn and confused cardinals. Thank you for that glimpse of what is surely to come! Happy Holidays everyone!

Ah, yes, and I'm at the beach/coast of Southern California and the palm trees are indeed being blown over by the dry and rather warm Santa Ana winds. I think it was mid-60s today. I miss snow.

PS, what Nancy said: Happy Holidays!

The weather is never right. Unless it happens to be 2 days before Christmas here or a roofing crew is working on my mother's house in Maine. And rats!, it's still the same 79 degrees in Haleiwa.
Just plain ol' lumb duck.

OMG that "candy corn"/snow thing! That is fantastic! I do believe...... when you post photos, they are among the most interesting in the entire blogosphere. :)

Celeste--
I used to call him "Yellow Man", but you've renamed him. He's Candy Corn! His current job is to stand guard over the compost pit. However, his past resume' deserves its own post. Someday...

Wow, snow! It's oddly warm here. Should be 50 today.

Thanks for the pictures of the snow. I'm now in the Christmas spirit.

What a snow! It was 70 here in Virginia yesterday. Your bike looks a bit like a standard poodle with the fancy hairstyle. Great photos. Happy Holidays.
