refraction

The alleys are full of miraculous treasures.
Early one morning, the dog noticed
this unusual doorway

and paused for a moment to refract.

We appreciate your stopping by, Celeste. Unlike most dogs, Garrett sometimes actually sees himself in the mirror; it scares the daylights out of him.

Oh, to have the curiosity of a dog. Or a toddler. To see things as fascinating and unknown, worthy of a sniff or a lick or a long explore! I think Garret is a great guide for what is worth exploring!

Refraction! I love how you captured the curiosity of the dog. Or is it fear of that mirror?

No matter. Love the painting and the composition.

I should let that puppy lie, but I cannot tell a lie.
This is a photo, albeit a fine one.
