heart of the matter

This is the heart of one of our heirloom tomatoes.
Here it is, past the middle of October,
and we still haven't had a frost,
so the garden is producing like a jungle.
Strange fruit.

Not to belabor the point, but I still can't see well.
Next week, I have an appointment with
 a corneal specialist.
I'm hoping he can get to the heart of the matter.
As they say,
 the emeffing saga continues.

Those tomatoes look delicious--a painting, photo, or iPad work?

Sorry about you emeffing eye--cataract surgery is in my future. For me, it's Lyme's disease. I thought cigarettes would do me in; now I'm thinking it might be an emeffing tick! (I love learning new words.)

What a beautiful tomato! It makes me want one (with mozzarella cheese)! Sorry to read your eyesight is still compromised. It has to be so frustrating. I hope you get answers and I am sending up positive healing thoughts for you! :)

Another iPhone pic, Hallie. Sorry to hear about the attack of the ICKY tick. What--- we thought we'd escape this life unscathed?!?

Happy to contribute to your ongoing education!
