On October 28th 2010, these pink things
appeared in the eastern sky at sunset.
If one were conspiracy-prone,
one might have had a little moment.
Naturally, I went straight to that
Great and All-Knowing Oracle,
Google.
Gadzooks!
Conspiracies R Us!
Lucky for you, I waded through the all the dreck;
I chose The Straight Dope.
Enjoy.

pretty....extra pretty!
If you lived in California you would have thought it was a ballistic missile. Luckily it wasn't.
This reminds me of watching crop dusters spray DDT back in the 40s/50s. (Maybe that's why I tune to a strange channel.) Great photos and thanks for the research.
Reading The Straight Dope, reminded me of living in Tennessee for many years (after growing up in Maine, talk about culture shock! LOL), and there were MANY, MANY who were into "chemtrails" to the point of washing their arms when they came in from outside. But then these same ones loved anything conspiracy-minded. What a thrill!
But you got really pretty pink things! I hope you washed your arms...
Carol--
Conspiracy-theorists would probably point out that the recent Californian UFO was also prefab vapor.
Hallie--
"The Straight Dope" is one of my favorite channels.
Shelley--
Good to hear from you again. My arms are as clean as any Tennesseans. Is that clean enough?
Oooh, that reminds me -- now that I'm in California, I should have washed my arms after the recent vapor trail...
UFO evidence. Definitely.
