Can you imagine being on a beach and having one of these walk past? Weird and wonderful. I love seeing the movement of the wind across the fabric covered sail.
I am Sam Hannaway, and I share this blog with the dogs in my life. Being creative soothes my soul, so I write when I have something to say, paint when words don't cut it and try to follow the dogs' advice with grace. They say to keep it simple.

I need one of these on our lake beach--maybe I'll start building. Fascinating. (A spoon and a person have crept into your dog knowses.)
Interlopers.
The spoons are a strange reference from the 80s(?).
The person has a big nose.
The dogs resent both.
poetry in motion...... Earth will be a distant memory for these chaps.

I always thought that sails are the best part of a boat, too.
Wild! I was shocked when I saw it walk..it appeared to be alive! How do you find these things?
So cool, and so extremely eerie and wonderful.
