getting there

Posting art is frustrating.
The colors are inaccurate and the values are off.
Objects appear larger in the mirror.

People from Down East don't like to waste words,
so they say it best.
"You can't get there from here."

You must be a fellow astrotraveler--great view.

The word "scrumptious" comes to mind. I love the way it fills the canvas.

Yet it still looks tasty.

I think you got there from here, uh, I mean, there. Anyway it's lovely! I love the colors, however inaccurate they may be.

Do you have/use Photoshop, Sam?

Also, does your camera have a white balance button?

I'm as flustrated as you are with cameras/posting. Lucky for me I have Lorie to make the camera go click.

Still a great tree, leaf-ed out and lovely. I can hear the breeze making a sssssss sound. Or is that you, hissing because the values and colors don't read right on the computer?!

I'm over my snit. Blogging is too wonderful to get fussy about reproduction quality. It's the same for everyone. Truth be told, I wouldn't have posted the tree if I didn't like it.
Casey, thanks for the reminder about white balance.
Jan, low-hanging fruit is indeed the sweetest.
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments!

It's POURING rain here, and from what I hear it is just about everywhere. 40 days and 40 nights. Keep your powder dry!
