This last little tree begins this new year in a fresh forest,

a forest that breathes for us.

Like I said back at the beginning...

lungs of the planet.

I hate to cut down trees (and have been know to be a genuine, logger-threatening, tree-hugger) but I am heartened by all of the small seedlings growing below the big trees. Lungs.
