tree #14

This last little tree begins this new year in a fresh forest,
a forest that breathes for us.

Like I said back at the beginning...
lungs of the planet.

My husband and I are talking about taking down some big fir trees in our backyard to open up the vista and give us more light in the winter. I hate to cut down trees (and have been know to be a genuine, logger-threatening, tree-hugger) but I am heartened by all of the small seedlings growing below the big trees. Lungs. I like that.

A happy ending for your tree series; it would make a neat little book.

Bob---
You got it.
Btw, congrats on your MAM placing!

Patrice---
There you are! Good to hear from you.

Katherine---
Why do you tell me these things? Sigh... I must remember that you live on another planet.

Thanks for saying so.
Welcome back to Home Sweet Vallarta.
What's next for me? Hawaii.

Thanks, Hallie---
Yes, a little book. Or I might blow them UP and see how loud those colors can get on a wall-piece.
Or something.
