Since I began this goose chase,
one of the biggest earthquakes in history occurred in Chile,
a tsunami didn't quite occur in Hawaii,
and my 90-year-old parents were buried in snow
without power for 3 days.
Meanwhile, the collage clue was in Bonnie's post,
And the table has been in the labels.
End of story.
Whew!

Cool table. Not so cool about the earthquake in Chile or that your parents are without power. In fact, I'm right there with you in empathy and concern. Please let us know that they are alright and when things are back to normal.
You're getting lots of winter weather as well, right?
We can't remember a time when it has rained here so steadily, since last night and throughout the day. What a winter. As a native Californian, I'm thinking about that ring of fire thing.
My parents are tough old Downeasters, and they finally got a generator last fall. They're fine, thanks, except my mother forgot she can't run the dryer and washed a load of sheets.
The Year of the Tiger just began, a year of social unrest and upheaval. Did you say Ring of Fire? I was born a Tiger, but don't blame me.
Thank you for the update. It's good to know. I get attached to my artist blogger buds and want only good things always. I know. I'm basically an optimist, while appearing as a curmudgeonly artist in real life.
Oh, dear. Social unrest and upheaval?! Didn't we have enough of that last year and the year before?!
I'm always worried about what will happen if CA is next for big earthquakes. The Ring of Fire is the earthquake line up from Chile that then circles around the Pacific Ocean.
As a kid in CA it was pretty common to watch our milk glasses dance across the formica table during dinner time.
You're reminding me that generators are very good things to have...
I promise not to blame you.
ohhhhh now i get it. :)
what fabulous piece, sam! and to my shame i have to admit i only now made it across... am a very infrequent fellow blogger at the moment, but i really like it here and put a reminder on my sidebar :)
Hey Tiger! Love the table...now I understand! (I can be a little slow:-)
Welcome to my humble blog, Gesa! I'm always glad to see company. I usually visit your blog when you post and am never disappointed. It's always thoughtful, sometimes funny and always informative, i.e., the pickled beets.
I think I sent a comment about your photos of Chile from last year, but I'll say it again; they were gorgeous, especially the ones of the fields south of Santiago.
Oh. And the double-run monoprints from your kitchen countertop are amazing. Apparently, you'll try anything!
Loriann, you are never slow. Besides, no great thoughts come quickly.
