to chew through the chicken wire
on the young cottonwoods along the river,

Love that top photo. In the thumbnail I thought you'd done a big abstract painting!

Thought you would. I think a tree wearing a girdle is pretty abstract.

Thanks for stopping in and commenting on my blog (and thanks to Casey for directing you my way, too)! I love these photos! I see this at my wildlife refuge, but to keep the nutria from chewing. No beavers. Where did you take the photos?

Hey, do Beavers need a building permit to build a dam? Maybe there's some sort of sleeping potion that could be sprayer on tree trunks that was like Rapid Roberts Roaring Hot Stump Blower. Seems like that would send them waddling towards the water and away from trees.

oooops sorry, can't post that here.
My grandsons in Breckinridge snow boarding right now. Hope you're having a good day.

Lucky grandson-- Breck's buried in snow! He's in the midst of the BEST spring skiing in the world.

Blogging is such an educational experience; I had never heard of Rapid Robert or his Roaring hot stump Blower. My life is now complete.

Amazing what you can learn from us
ole midwestern country boys. Umm, now
if I could only find my way back to the country.

I guess I'll just follow that cow over there.

Later Sam,

Beautiful photos. I love how "nature finds a way." Inspires us to do the same, yes?

Best wishes with the fan!
