Well Sam, this is awesome color! You're really on a roll right now! A multi colored roll. I think the colors that you're using are great, creative and imaginative. Someday soon I hope to have this same freedom that you have.
PT's almost over, soon will be on my own! Say hi to Boulder for me. Doug
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose... Like not having to have any more PT. Congratulations on your graduation! You should be proud of yourself.
From what all three of you say, I guess I'm not the only one who likes a strong dose of color. And here I thought I had a problem. So even though it's scary, I think I'll take you at your word. Watch out!
LOVE the color! When you put it out there like this, it's like SAM IS IN THE ROOM! Not to say that it's not worthwhile to try other approaches, but if this is what makes you high, why fight it?
Katherine, I really don't know how I survived my 20s, like I don't know how I survived letting this one out. What they have in common is that both were scary and thrilling.
I am Sam Hannaway, and I share this blog with the dogs in my life. Being creative soothes my soul, so I write when I have something to say, paint when words don't cut it and try to follow the dogs' advice with grace. They say to keep it simple.

I like the abstract/realist aspects of this --well done!
Go, Sam, go! Don't ever lose that freedom that you show here!
Magnificent! You wear your love of color on your sleeve – this is nothing short of sensational!
Celeste, this compliment is much appreciated. I love the color in your last couple of paintings.
Casey, I of course thought I was out of control. Not a bad thing, I guess. Thanks for rooting me on!
Colors all over my sleeves indeed, Marcia. And my pants and my shirt... Time to do laundry!
Listen to your commenters....They are so right.
Very strong work. Keep going--fearlessly.
another color junkie reveals her confessions.... you go girl, from the heart!
WOW!
That's what I said after my jaw dropped open.
WOW!
Such beautiful color. I want to sink and soak it all in.
This is very pretty. I love the colours.

Hi Val--hello to you, absurdoldbird. Nice to hear from you again. I love getting nice comments from other color-freaks. Thanks!

Had to add my late comment here about your gorgeous use of color. Show me this one in person next time I'm over there.
Katherine,
I really don't know how I survived my 20s, like I don't know how I survived letting this one out. What they have in common is that both were scary and thrilling.
Jala,
I'll let it out so you can see it.
