As usual, I'm fighting technology and circling the drain.
Listening to Ziggy Stardust sing about spiders.
Better post something -- anything --
before going down for the 3 millionth time.
I've mentioned www.jacksonpollock.org before.
Then I discovered that it's also an iPhone app. Great!
Now I can auto-Pollock myself into oblivion.
A glass of wine on the flight to Maine
prompted the following painting.
My current techno-meltdown is with MySqueezebox.com (Internet radio).
Peter Gabriel is playing "Shock The Monkey".
How appropriate.

I'm finishing a pastel. My acrylics are hollering in the corner. Maybe I'll listen.
You're so versatile! It's okay to listen to the acrylics, just don't listen to the spider. Spiders give very bad advice!s
If in the first image you're suggesting technology can bite us and maybe even swallow our lives if we let it - I think maybe I'd have to agree.
So the first image is somewhat threatening and the second quite fresh and lovely - always an interesting contrast.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love your pastel paintings. But knowing now that your inclination is to go back to your acrylics I'd immediately say that's great! go for it!
I like the sink/spider image and the link! thanks for both!
This spider's name is Earl. He moved into the sink when the hurricane of the same name showed up. He was gone when I got home from Maine. So were the hummingbirds. I miss them all.
Aaaagh, the next time you post a spider pic PLEASE warn me ahead of time. Shudder.
here I am screaming....both at the spider and the fab iPhone Pollock painting.
