I call it "a cast of thousands" because, in the end, that's what it's going to cost (adios Hawaii :o[ ). The Scottish in me does not think this is amusing at all. Methinks if Lady MacBeth had had a cast it surely would have been as red as this one, especially after using it to club you-know-who over the head. She'd use it as a red flail to out out that damn spot.
But the goofy in me knows that goofy is what will save me, so I'm considering auditioning for the role of Sissy Hankshaw, the swollen-thumbed hitchhiking heroine of Tom Robbins' seminal 1976 novel, "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues".

I love to read your posts Sam. Cast of thousands, heehee. Does that really mean that you will not go to Hawaii?
thanx, loriann. i thought the post was good, too. and yes, sorry to say no hawaii. bummer. but there are good reasons, most of them having to do with being adult about it.
What a bad joke - an artist with a broken arting arm. Your humor and feist will speed up the healing, I be sure. Keep us posted on the The Red Arm (not to be confused with the Chinese military!)
As your panoply of knowses played, I realized how fascinating and attractive they have always been to me, too. Mysterious as well - sooo powerful and sensitive that we can only compare them to our eyes. As was said long ago, when a dog sticks its nose out the speeding car window, it must be like us hallucinating on acid. (Which of course we don't do any more.)
Sam ..what;' this i hear about left handed pasteling... don't they have to give you a license for that? Seriously, that's great. Years ago when i broke bones in my shoulder (cycling accident) i had to paint left handed all summer. Later both hands worked at the same time, like a hamster with her food. Lower the bar and enjoy the experience.. think big it's easier. your friend L
PS sorry about Hawaii... adulthood..pooh
It's great to read that you are turning an unfortunate moment into a goofy instant. I wish you all the best with your audition and a safe and productive new year!! :) And, perhaps a winning lottery ticket...
You poor poor thing! Seeing it, even in a photo, seems much more real than just hearing about it. I'm certain Lady M. would very much approve of your new blunt instrument.
Did I give you a red dot from India just now?
Are you really not going to Hawaii because of your arm??
You must admit - as do I, that the scarlet wrapping quite makes it a thing of beauty...
